Who is our founder
Beatriz L Melo was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has lived with her family in NY for over two decades. Her journey from Brazil with only a backpack has gifted her with a profound understanding the meaning of simplicity and emotional connection to space. Her goal is not only to organize spaces but to infuse life and positive energy into environments and helping her clients improving their wellbeing.
Aside from being a professional organizer, she’s also a Feng Shui consultant, senior move manager, downsizing specialist, reiki practitioner, and family constellation facilitator. She loves baking and making brigadeiros (Brazilian chocolate truffles). As a busy mom of three awesome kids, she understands the importance of maintaining work life balance and how challenging it can be.
In addition to Proactive House in NY, she also runs consulting services in Brazil and is a partner at Animai, an app that connects people that want to have fun together and explore their cities. She’s committed to help her clients and community simplify their lives and spaces, improve their physical and mental health, make space to what really matters to them.
